I was recently enrolled into the Swick Offsider Training course. It can be a daunting feeling when you don't know what to expect.. being the only female in this course I was extremely nervous!! But my trainer's (Doug, Josh, and Luke) were absolutely amazing!!! Not onlydid they make me feel comfortable but they were always willing to help and answer any questions or go over anything I wasn't to sure about. Thanks to these trainer's I've not only gained so much knowledge but also confidence as I step into my new role as a Offsider.To any females who are interested in becoming an offsider or are unsure about this training I 100% recommend it. Thanks again to the amazing trainers at Swick Mining Doug and Luke. Keep up the great work!

Wouldn’t recommend! Swick loves there stuff eating underground in Lead mines, very unprofessional, all they care about is dollar signs they do not care about your health or your safety (too a degree). Lead is very dangerous once ingested and for Swick to be okay with all its stuff eating underground in a lead mine its just disappointing. Don’t let your driller or other team members force u too eat underground either.. Get yourself to the surface even if they make u walk up the decline and enjoy your lunch away from the exposure, you deserve it.. Your work is not worth your life no matter how much they pay you. Please be aware Swick has a strong crust but the core is rotten. Don’t mean for any hard feelings I speak from knowledge and experience.I was on the phone with HR and the second I spoke to them about forced to eat underground in a lead mine, the first thing they said was, “maybe this isn’t the right job for you.” So please be careful, don’t wast your time with this company,, also with the supervisor the second I told the individual about myself and forced to eat underground under lead exposure he turned around and said, “do u know your here to make money not everyday you will get your lunch.”So please don’t support this company, your money is better off in other hands. There is so many UG/surface diamond drilling companies don’t support there unsafe environment
